Vaishnavi’s programs utilize mindfulness-based psychology - primarily somatic inquiry and the eight limbs of yoga in their complete form to deliver a positive healing experience. She guides you in simultaneously building an emotional tool-kit while learning how to hold space for difficult emotions. She knows first-hand that healing can be a difficult process and bring up intense emotions, so she helps you expand on joy and peace in your life to make space for those feelings to pass through. Vaishnavi believes that everyone has the power to heal themselves and that she is a medium to connect you to your strengths and distinct abilities.
She has recognized the vast overlap between yogic philosophy and psychology. In eastern medicine and philosophy, the body is not treated as separate from the mind and the soul. They are treated as one coexisting unit, which is why we change our mind through tapping into bodily wisdom and why nourishing our soul makes us feel good mentally and physically.
Yoga is a union. Union of mind, body, soul, breath. It is an incredibly transformative practice when it is practiced in its wholesome, eight limbed forms.
